Whispers I've heard is the NT48.3 will have a chassis, hinge pin carriers, spur, brakes & linkage upgrade and should arrive around under the Christmas tree time, so with that being said not a huge amount of changes as the truggy is fast with some small issues, hard to improve on in my books, rather just making it a better version of the one we already have, I've had just as many issues as all the above posted guys but these small issues would not change my mind that the Tekno NT48 is just flat out fast

Default Clutch

This is my first nitro. On my clutch, I'm running 2 greens (0.9) and 2 gold (1.0) springs. I did this because I originally drove it more like electric and the clutch was slipping with the stock setup at lower speeds. I've been practicing a little tryin to get used to nitro and, 2nite, the car was shooting out of the corners a little harder than I wanted (car would get sideways or spin out). Will going to 4 gold springs help this? I figured the clutch would engage a little later, but probably a little harder. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wouldn't wait on a new truggy. Only likely differences will be hinge pin braces and chassis. You can upgrade cheaper than buying a new kit. Talked with Ryan this weekend and his truggy is all still box stock!!

Default C-hubs

For those using the 10 deg front c-hubs, are you seeing more turn in in the 1st part of the turn? Any problems pulling out of a turn?

Yep, they are good tuning options if you have an engine that can pull the taller gearing, i have run 13/48, 14/48 and even 13/50 as i said good tuning options, for the small track with 180 turns leading straight into jumps the 13/50 gives you that little extra down low, with an open fast flowing track the 14/48 gives you a taller top end roll out but you need a fast engine to not loose to much punch down low

Thanks. I'm running a Triton L5 and it's pretty quick revving to that good power band.

Nevermind on this one. I previously had expo on the throttle and took it off Fri b4 the Sat race. On sat, I forgot I did that. I was able to run a lot better this weekend knowing that my throttle was linear...lol.

Had a great day out with the Tekno NT48 today, took the TQ and a 2 lap win over the field in the A main final running the M2C chassis and a new modified Rex Legend 25 engine powerhouse from THE NITRO SHOP

I can wait for the new NT48.3 since unfortunately I have had issues common to all with Spur/chassis Flex. I will save for the new truggy but in the mean time I found this.
Cheap kits if not a scam. Although it is amazon.

That Rex 25 is beast. I've been running it for months and not put anything else on my truck. i have to run a 14 pinion though.

Here is the current set up i am running in the above video's

If the track surface is loose i change the diffs to 10/12/5 and go down to 600/500 in the shock oils but thats about it unless the track im on requires more changes to the set up
