The body is very cool on the truck for sure. Great going around the track! Really drew me to the truck. Plus they perform really well....

I am in the market for a nice used truggy if anyone is selling a NT48....pm me.

Do the buggy and truggy share the same starter box?

Yes. But there is one caveat.

Both engines have to be orientated the same way. If the buggy is front engine and the Truggy is rear engine. ..Then you will need different boxs.

DO NOT BUY THIS TRUGGY IF...............

You like to take it apart and change worn out parts after every race day.

I've been feeling guilty because I race my truggy every weekend at Fear Farm. I have not done maintenance to it since the Battle of the SiKest race in mid November (diff oils, shock oils, outdrives, etc). Just took it apart and the oil in the diffs is still clear, shock oil is still clear, outdrives do not need replacing, ring and pinion gears (both front and back) look brand new and bearings all still good.

I drive the hell out of it (won truggy class the last 3 weeks in a row) and this thing just keeps on ticking.

Keep saying to myself just run buggy this weekend. Then I get to the track and can't help running truggy also. It's so much fun throwing this thing around the track.

Absolutely love this vehicle..............................

That's funny Bill. Considering how much faster I was with the Tekno buggy I bought from Mark Forbes and the improvement of 1.5 seconds per lap, I had no choice but to pull the trigger on the Truggy. Very impressed with these cars and I'm confident I will have the same experience with the truggy. Gonna start building today!

I'm coming for you. watch out for sleeper mena......

building center diff. have some clarification questions.

diff risers? the bag comes with 2 long risers and 4 half sized risers.

books says to CA glue them to the bottom of the diff however which ones? the image is one riser of each however they have a different thickness to them. is the CA glue necessary since the diff bolts form the bottom? don't want to glue anything then find out other.

can you guys help me out here?

appreciate the help.

the long risers are for the chassis brace and the short ones are for the diff mounts. which thickness you use depends on center diff gear. with the 48 tooth you can use the thin ones. I used the thick ones just to give a little more chassis clearance. you will want to glue them in place because it is a pain to try and get them positioned otherwise. I tried!! LOL

Tekno was contemplating an optional 50T spur gear thats why they added the thicker shim to the kit. I used the thicker ones because a little extra clearance can't hurt.

I agree about the body...super cool. We have our first Etruggy race on our track Feb 7th. Its one of our bigger races of the year. I worry about lack of participation in this class after this race. I got the EB, waiting on the NB, and then maybe the ET. We have few in the area.

Question... Why are Tekno air cleaners so expensive? Come on really $10.99 for three

You can use these if you don't want to buy the Tekno ones. Or use an air filter setup from a Mugen or Losi. http://www.amain.com/protek-r-c-dust...oam-10/p215355
