1. Black

3. Associated Diff Oil

5. Yes I have played with switching them, 0's all around, and will actually be running +1 all around this weekend. The +2 front and +1 rear was the most tame setup to start with.

I wonder why tekno went 15-44 spur gear clutch bell gear ratio instead of 13-46, and why are the outside bearings on the 15t clutch bell different to the bearing used on the 13t clutch bell or any other clutc bell for that matter. When your running both buggy and truggy it would be good to have the same parts interchangable especially clutch bell bearings. Had a clutch bell bearing fail on the buggy went to use one of my truggy bearings and it was to small so my day was done. They make everything virtually interchangeable between the buggy and truggy and the the most simple common part that should be the same are different i can't understand why, its not even a bearing size that any of my other 100 clutch bells use.

13/46 in the buggy would be ridiculous. All bottom no top. If you want to use the same bearings for both buggy and truggy, go with a different clutch system, like the Werks or Buku. Then get clutch bells that use the standard 5x10 bearing. Problem solved. AFAIK no brand buggy and truggy uses the same clutch/spur combo.

I was asking a simple question why are the bearings different sizes as most bells are 5x10. And the reason i was asking why 15-44 is that my X-ray and mugen both run 13-46 which seems to be very common in buggies.

the NB uses a short truggy gearing, like also TeamC, Intech and others
it's all about preference in acceleration in certain circumstances
the bearings can be bigger as the diameter of the teething of the bell is higher and so one obtains normaly less wear rate and more relability

Do the 34mm Werks or Buku clutch systems fit on the NB48 properly? Anyone running them? Which clutchbell are you using with them?

Use a Serpent bell if you want 5x10mm on both sides...

Tekno's post #143 said they designed the stock bell to use 5x11x5 on purpose to increase durability. IMO, I get more life out of the Tekno bearings than I did with the thinner bearings I used in my last car, so mission accomplished to me.

You can also just run a 15t losi clutch bell. 5x10 on front and 5x13 on back. Been running it this way with zero issues.

Also, I wanted to add that the Truggy had to user smaller bearings because the diameter of the 13t bell is to small to accommodate the larger bearing. The larger bearing increases bearing life.

I run the Buku clutch and you just need to use a few shims behind the flywheel to get it centered on the spur and then you need to use a brand new Serpent vented bell. DO NOT USE an old used bell with a Buku clutch, you will destroy the shoes get a brand new bell or one that has only been used with Buku komposite shoes.
