Hey guys just to let you all know that the main gear is way worse than first thought. Put it up against a new one and there isn't much left lol.
The teeth were all pulled to one side but what's happened is I then turned the diff around to run rear mount, and it has tried to turn the teeth back the other way. So note to self.

When we go from forward mount to rear mount we are changing the way the teeth run back to front from forward mount to rear mount. So that's why it finally got that noisy cause it wore the flat top parts off the teeth.

So if u want a smooth drivetrain from front to rear mount engine it's best to have two main gears so one will run in one direction and the other to run the other way.
Cheers
Fordy

Made it back home this week and all the parts I had ordered were waiting for me. Only thing I had left for the Tekno was the offset brake cams and the updated droop screws. I'll probably install those tomorrow since it will be raining and then pray everything dries out so I can test it all out Thursday down at Heritage.

With my limted experience, the offset brake cams certainly seemed more progressive, and I did notice a difference. I am also running the EB48 discs and pads, which work quite well and am pleased with their operation. Also, the new droop screws are on point!

Same here, and drove it that way before installing the offset brake cams. I liked the EB48 discs and pads as is, but like it even better now with the new cams

Grr, I just cant win lately. Picked up the parts while I was home but forgot my radio when I left last night! I was thinking about buying a new radio, this might be a reason to do so

I have to also say, good job on the new droop screws and the new cams. The screws making things so much easier and the cams really feel good in comparison to stock. While no where near required, worthwhile replacements IMO.

Just finished up installing the brake cams and they engage much sooner in the throw. Sure wish I had the radio to dial everything in right now and get a feel for them but looks like a great improvement thus far. While I was at it, I decided to remove the spring I was using on the brake linkage and decided to use o-rings instead (the Mugen is setup like this and I liked the stiffer feel compared to the spring). We'll see how it actually works. Forgot all about the droop screws, guess that will be tomorrows project. Also dropped the Picco in the Tekno, hopefully I get a chance to race it before the move to Virginia.

Been running the EB brakes along with the offset cams for a few weeks now. Great option to run. The stock setup felt a little like an on/off switch, but I never ran the stock brake pads and discs with the new offset cams. I think the stock brakes have the ability to be a stronger setup, but not as controllable as the fiber rotors. The fiber rotors and offset cams make the brakes so controllable that the car doesn't even react like you have hit the brakes, it just slows down without changing the attitude of the car whether it be landing a jump, entering a corner, or late corner braking. I will definitely continue to run this setup for the forseeable future.

Got the droop screws installed today and was pleased that I was able to run the front droop screws up from the bottom of the arm and still get 106mm of droop.

Also, I was looking at Ryan's setup from Battle of the Sikest and wasnt able to see a selection for the front pivot blocks or the outer camber link. Any idea what these selections were?

Those showed up on the PDF from his website? I'm using Acrobat XI Pro (Windows 7) and those selections were blank.
