This isn't a motorcycle that's using gyroscopic force to manipulate its balance not to mention one wheel completely off the ground with the machines CG being almost vertical. And the reason the rear tire is rotating in that situation is because its on a hinge since the CG is vertical. Has absolutely nothing to do with braking. That was a very poor analogy. In order to make a 4 wheel vehicle "rotate" around corners you want more rear brake than front brake especially at high speeds with sweeping turns. More front brake creates understeer via front biased weight transfer which opposes the cars ability to "rotate".

Got to say that I love this buggy! Its great even on a loose sandy/clay track like I run on. Ran Tanners Day setup and hubs forward with Proline X4 Suppressors. Money.

If your on that fence cause peeps say this or that. Get one! Or not. Love beating the other 30 TLR's. At least I try right! haa

Default Aluminum Front Hingepin Holders

Anyone having breakage issues with this part? A couple of racers here are having them torn when the car lands nose first on one of the front wheels. The aluminum bar just breaks into two upon landing.

I have not had an issue or seen anyone in my area have issues but there was another person on this thread that did break one. M2C has a beefier one and AE looked to be working on an updated one too.

Bent both ends on first outing with that car. Found out after I saw that I lost the play I had on the front arms. You probably won't notice it on the first bend, but as time goes, metal fatigue will snap it. Would've been nicer if it had a little more meat around the mounting holes. M2C makes a beefier one, and AE is working on a replacement also.

What's up with the diffs? Diff oil weight on the team set up sheets seem to be all over the place. I just picked up my first B3 kit has AE changed anything with the build instructions or shimming amount? Do I still need to run the diffs without gaskets?

My nitro kit came with an addendum to the manual and the necessary shims for it, my e buggy's manual was updated so no addendum was needed, again it included all shim necessary.

I built all my diffs as instructed in the manual/addendum and checked the mesh to make sure it was correct. 5 of the diffs were built according to those spec and 1 diff I had to remove one of the shims behind the big gear to get the mesh right. I'm not sure why some guys aren't using gaskets. The local team guys i've talked to are...my diffs seem good, no issues or leaks yet.

Can you post a copy of the addendum? Or better yet, is this screenshot of the E-buggy manual current?

Thats correct. The addendum added 1 shim behind each gear, making 2 total behind each gear, just like you see from your screenshot of the manual.
