Especially that Yannick Aigoin was using an MBX7R body on his RC8 car before jumping back to Xray.

This may be of interest, provided it hasn't already been shared:

Looks like the flywheel and clutch setup will not be different. According to Amain parts section the diff cases and internals will be the same as current models.

Wish they would have put steel inserts in the droop screw tabs on the chassis. That spot wears so quickly.

I had a chance to see the new car in action at AMS 6.0 this weekend. I also had a hands on look at the new car. WOW this car is awesome. All 4 pro drivers running it put the new car in the a feature. It was like watching a slot car, they were under such amazing control.

Did they indicate when the car gets here? I messaged Kody Numedahl on facebook, not sure he will respond.

I am feeling it won't be here this month (June) as Associated website stated this Alabama shootout race was the last test of the sample production kits and I wonder if any significant numbers have come off the line as of yet. It would have to be several days shipped from the China port already to be here when Amain and Tower have for dates.

One was running a prototype e buggy. I didnt get a super close look but I am pretty sure it is an electric specific car and not a converted nitro buggy.

Brent Thielke the team manager was there but didnt get a chance to discuss the new cars arrival. He was busy going between their 4 drivers and making sure they were all getting what they needed.
