Default Effects of Tire Foam Inserts?

Hello everyone,

I have been racing for a while and I have tried various different tires but I have always used standard foam inserts. What are the effects of using a softer or stiffer foam insert? My local track is a European style bumpy and loose track. What would you recommend?

Im doing race about 2 years, with 2.0 Losi, IMO foam inserts effect on how much ur tire surface will force and push down into the ground, in general softer inserts makes ur entire tires surface get full contact with the ground easily and increase tire wear. with harder inserts do the opposite. Im using standart foam inserts, and more considering the tire compound than foam insert.
