Default Nitro Racing Specs

Hey guys i was wondering what the minimum weight and highest weight is to race the 2013 Nitro Challenge.

Likely the same as ROAR rules.

Unlikely that they'll check. Noones really cared about weight for years because going lighter than 7.5 pounds deosn't seem to work well at all.

Max weight has more to do with how much energy the car has should a turn marshal get a head shot.

Minimum weight for buggy, electric or nitro, is 3200g. I think truggy is 4000g. Weights are taken with zero fuel in tank. Fuel system sizes are the standard, 125cc for buggy, 150cc for truggy. And yes, they do check weight and fuel system capacity at DNC.

That's not true. Many are dq'ed as a result of not passing tech at the nitro challenge. I bumped into a truggy main earlier this year because of a Mugen that was under weight.

They also check the wheelbase and width.

I missed the part about the nitro challenge.

But, I've never been tech'd at any other "lesser" big event.
