Default RCScrewz? Decent?

I'm rebuilding my Losi LST and looking to replace the screw kit.

Are RC Screwz any good? I did some searches and found mixed opinion..

I don't want to spend $50 on Tony's, thats just too much imo

Thanks

There really soft they round very easy. I would spend the money on getting the Tony screws having headaches with rounded screws and, snapped screws can be time comsuming.

You can also part together your own kit for cheaper, but it's more of a headache. The Protek screws are really nice IMHO.

Tony's screws are far superior in quality and packaging. The Tony's kits come in individually marked bags, not all thrown together in a single box like the RC Screwz.

Buy once/right the first time or buy twice.

Thanks for all the advice, cancelled RCScrewz order , ordered Tonys and the drill bit.

I agree that $20 is much better than stripped or bent screws in one of our priceless trucks

Tony supplies Protek so either of those are the way to go

Rc screwz sucks. Got a metric conversion kit for my losi scte and half the screws didn't thread right, very loose tolerances on the heads, and very easy to strip. I use the protek "high strength" screws and they are awesome.

Rc screwz don't send the correct set of screws for your car. i had trouble with my D8/Vorza. The best choice is grab your car's manual and go to a screws shop and build your own kit.

TrakPower offers some really nice screw kits:

They are not for a specific kit, but they are high quality sets that has everything you should ever need.
