Default LiPo RX Low voltage cutoff with a throttle return spring?

What do you guys think about using a lipo low voltage cutoff to save RX Lipos and using the throttle spring to return the throttle and prevent runaways? This would save lipo rx packs and prevent runaways due to loss of signal from an over discharged lipo pack.

Just charge your lipos regularly.

There's no reason a 2000mah or 2200mah lipo can't last a 45-minute or even hour long main - even with juice sucking servos - unless you are running some 1100mah to try and save weight.

You should always have some throttle return spring/band anyway (it's ROAR rule), but I still wouldn't trust my $400 engine to a $1 spring.
