Xray XB9 vs. Losi 8ight EU

I am thinking in buying a Pro Buggy, but I´m torn between the Xray XB9 and the Losi 8ight Eu.

I read that the Xray is one of, if not the toughest car of all, but and how about the handling and the price of parts?

Thanks! :)

Losi will be cheaper up front and in parts, but Xray will wear slower. All in all I think they will cost you tha same over a loner period of time.

I have no experience with Xray, bu have heard it's a very stable car.

Losi's generally reward a smooth driver. Push it too much and it will bite.

Both are great buggies. The Losi parts are cheaper but as already mentioned, may wear faster and in the end I think you will break even. In my area there are 10 Losi drivers to 1 Xray so you might want to take that into consideration what people are running near you. Having the support and knowledge from the other racers goes a long way when you are having problems. I am a Xray guy, run the 2011 808 and now the XB9. Either way I think you will be happy with what ever you get. Both brands have their fair share of wins. Good luck.

And what about Xray XB9 vs. Sworkz BK1?

I searched for Sworkz and the parts are very cheap.

Thanks!

Well, on this forum nobody is allowed to say anything negative about a product.
Just don't buy an Sworkz. It's made from pure "mierda" according to my buddy José. (Who was DNF today with his Sworkz due to mechanical failure.. again..)

The X-RAY quality is superior and 2nd to none. I have tons of spare parts still in the packaging.

I said mechanical failure, not "ran into a tree and broke the car in half".
Last race the rear bevel gear and diff gear crown wore out, I don't consider that normal.

LosiPRRACER 10-07-2012 02:56 PM

that happens when you dont shim properly. or not sealing the diff case from dirt... normal maintenance would of saved you buddy

Keep looking for excuses dude.
It's always user error, never a flawed product.
