Default Kyosho MP9????

Hi, probably my first post here, but I am a veteran, lurking around this forum for a long time.

I have just received a deal for a Kyosho MP9 that is like new. But it cost $100 cheaper than a new Xray XB9. I am torn between this decision. I pretty much want to go the Kyosho way, but the XB9 looks good. Being used, you may think that it is not of good quality. It is good quality. I have seen it today. Barely used.

Can you guys help me? I am currently driving an Xray 808 2011 spec.

What version of the MP9? $500 for an original TKI1 that is a total rip off the car was problematic many issues..Hopefully you received the TKI2 in the deal .. I race the Kyosho TKI2 and the car is fantastic!!!

Its a TKI2. If it was a TKI1, then I wouldn't even take a look at his car :P

If $500 is what you paid for it. Tuck it under your arms and run like a football player. That a good deal extra 60 and you got A TKI3. DOnt worry about the unis. And when you order some make sure they are the 93mm IFW404 i think

Why buy used at the $500ish price point? Even if it is, like new, too many chumps out there don't know how to put bolts in a hole without stripping plastic, or use cheap tools that strip the screw heads.

A used Mp9 is only worth $200. I don't care how nice it looks.

Get a Xray Xb9 or the Mugen.

Clearly you have never owned/run a K car TKI2. $500 used is a GREAT deal and I would jump all over it. Funny how used K cars seem to ALWAYS sell for more than most NEW kits from other companies, while other chassis sell for a fraction of what they were new...

Maybe it's because every other chassis requires $300 worth of genuine K car parts to be competitive......

So I guess a new xb9 at $600 plus $100 steering knuckles and another $50 for different springs and pistons is a better deal??
