Default Beginner nitro hpi firestorm or traxxas nitro sport.

I don't wanna spend too much on a second rc I have a stampede now and just got a 2s lipo and charger. I want a decent fast nitro now and the best bang for my $ thanks for all your help.

traxxas has great support at the hobby shop but hpi may also wherever youre from AND HPI is bit more advanced than traxxas but still easy. Since i started racing couple years ago, I have 5 vehicles and none are the same brand; you never know what you prefer until you try their designs...widen your horizons.

P.S. my HPI nitrostar engine in my rs4 treats me great and always has...fired right up this spring when i dusted it off

I'd go with the firestorm.

The nitro sport is a nice little truck with great parts availability. But I think the firestorm is a little better as far as durability goes. Also i find the HPI motors are much easier to tune.

another vote here for the firestorm. Durable and easy to tune.

I'll take any hpi motor over traxxas. Traxxas motors IMHO are almost untunable to the begginer
