Mugen mbx5. You can actually still run and find parts on them to.

might be a 5R. The front shock tower looks like the updated version

Oh yea it is i had a MBX5 i should have known lol i noticed the pivot ball rear and that should had said it right there

Throw some mbx6 shocks on it and its good to go and to the op its definately and mbx5r

Well the stock shocks are fine for now. Whoever the guy that built it was must have had some very good shock skills because the spring rate and dampening feel phenomenal for this truck. He had the shocks set up pretty close to perfect. Think i'm gonna leave on there for a while and see how it does. They're brand new just like the rest of the truck.
