associated sc8 help
 

I bought a associated sc8 nitro about a week or 2 ago broke it in and everything and it seems to not have much top speed it tops out at like 35-40 people who have this truck can u give me some pointers on what gearing will make me have a lot of torque and give me some more top speed

Stock engine not a screamer change bell to 17 tooth

Well I have 3 spare motors but don't kno if they will fit I have a hot bodies 46 big block and a savage .21 big block and a rb concepts engine which one will be the best in it and will all of them be a perfect fit no modifications

Try an 18T clutch bell.

The SC8 has very low gearing - I have an LRP 30 in mine with an 18T bell, and it will still drift.. Could handle a 19 or maybe even 20T I think..

I also run buggy race 21's with a 17 T bell in mine, and they still drift..

I.e, try an 18T bell first..

Something like an Alpha .23 with an 18T CB would be ideal...
