Whatever HPI/HB does, which may be nothing, they will have masses following. The allegiance some have is unmatched.

If Ty wants to run this Car for the Worlds, HB will have to release it before the time comes. But of course if he goes back to the Lightening parts, I guess they already have those..

I, I think like every Hot Bodies fan, Just want to see an actual updated car.. Even if it is a factory D8 with the Lightening.

An interesting thing here is the chassis...
more "losi like"
its not Symmetrical equal left/right, the right side (radio tray) is Wider.
i never like it on my losi seems its make the chassis roll be "Unexpected", and make the car more hard to drive...
but its It seems to be working well for ty...

The chassis plate has never been symetrical on the D8...

The hara was never symetriclal right to left either so dont know where you are going with that one boss...and the losi looked pretty damned good at the nats...Dakota Phend would agree...

One thing mentioned in the write up on NEO was that the a-arms had a small "cavity" with a removable cover that was used to add weight to the arms. That's one tuning option I have never heard of. What situation would you want to add unsprung weight as a tuning option?

Cr8 was josh Alton's design . Don't see them releasing it since he left hb maybe robbers will finish it but idk.

Maybe the CR8 is just a lemon in terms of performance. Just the fact that the top team drivers resort to the D8 raises some significant questions. I wonder if maybe in their zeal to get a new car to market Hot Bodies went to final tool prematurely with the hope that they could work the bugs out later, but that it's not working out as they planned.

the CR8 was looking very racey at the nats. Jesse was running strong in his Semi till a flameout dropped him down.
