Default Anyone using a Tiger Drive Starter?

I am a bump box kinda guy, but I found a good deal on a motor that had a pull start that I could not resist. When I got the motor I decided to try the Tiger Drive for the heck of it, which is a pretty slick deal but the darn thing keeps spinning with the motor running. Does anyone else have this same issue?

I called Tiger Drive and they said that it should not do this, but I cannot see how it can be avoided since there is nothing built into it to stop it from spinning. The one-way bearing has to be in correctly since you can only spin the motor in one direction and it is the correct direction. I can also stop and hold the TD with my fingers which also indicates the bearing is in correctly.

This will not be a permanent thing, but any thoughts before I just convert it to bump start?

Thats why its call a one way bearing these drives are PITA they wear quickly had during my Revos days make sure you dont over power. I perfer a Pull start less issues less gear to carry and its cheaper. Something isnt right pull the back plate off needs to be connected correctly.

Thanks for the reply. I will take apart and reinstall and see what happens. May end up just grinding the starter nub off the crank, put on a regular back plate and bump it.
