I'm looking for a replacement steering servo for a Ten-t. What tourqe specs should I go with?

Doesn't have to be amazingly high, but should be in the mid 100's or so.

The More the merrier, Buy as Much Tq and you can afford.

High end servo's can always be used in another car remember, Junk low end servo's fail and are in general Not worth it.

Buy Big and Buy Once.

I've got a Savox 1267 for my steering. 180 oz-in/.11 sec @ 6.0 v seems to more than adequate.

Im considering putting my hs-7954sh on it simply because my 1/8 truggy seems to like to strip the gears in that servo. I figured the Ten T would not be as stressful on the servo. Anyone see any reason I shouldn't run that servo in The Ten T?

I see no reason why not...it's a little overkill torque wise, but that isn't a problem or anything.

I definitely wouldn't buy that servo for it but I already have it so we'll go with it.

I run a Savox 1258tg in my Ten-T and it works wonderful. 166oz and .08 sec plenty torque and plenty fast. Titanium Gears too, just make sure that your servo saver spring and nut are tightened up. This is located on the front right steering post in front of Rx. There is a spring at the bottom that you will need to tighten up with some loctite. After I had installed my servo my steering still sucked especially under power. After I tightened it up it was a new world of difference. You can put a 360oz servo in there and if you saver isn't tightened it might as well be a 70oz servo.

Goodluck!
