Default jammin x1crt and x2crt parts compatibility.

Ive noticed that when looking at parts for my x1crt than alot of the time it says it will also fit the x2crt, and sometimes the nexx8, Just wondering what the main differences are between the x1 and x2? Maybe some pics?
Thanks in advance.

as i just did a castle conversion for cr1, the main plate{chassis} is different.
and as most know the shocks on the x2 are 16mm the x1 are 13mm.
thats all i know.
this would be good informational to know what is and isnt compatibile.

On amain when you look at parts alo of them say they are compatible. One thing i cant find is what bodies fit without hacking? Wonder if the x2 bodys fit. Do you know what is different about the chassis?

The suspension components are all the same. But there were different springs for the X2. The chassis is set up with the weight bias different and the chassis shape is a bit narrower and lighter. The center diff mount and brake set up are a bit different. X1 bodies fit X2 truggies. Engine is back 5mm i think. Tanks are different, X2 is longer and has quik change posts for tank w/ body clips. I think the diff gearing changed too.

Hope that helps

As far as i understand the engine is placed more to the middle and front on the x2 so the centerdiff is on a other location also.
The x2 uses cvd,s allround 16mm bigbore shocks intergrated tabs on the tank for the fuellines different spurr, pinion and gear on the front and back diffs called heliconical or something like that.
And some other different things but most parts are compatible

JAMMIN X2 CRT!!!!

I have the x1, Ive read the d8t bulldog body also fits with some slight mods. Aka 0 offset rims should also fit.

The x1 and x2 do share a lot of parts as does the nexx8t. The nexx is the newest version of the jammin, they dropped the name because "Jammin" Jay Halsey no longer works with Ofna.

As the others mentioned some parts don't fit without some work. The spur gear on the x1 has 62T, the x2 has 48T(I believe), the center diffs are set up differently so I'm not sure if it's just a direct swap. The x2 plastics are supposedly better than the x1 also. I believe the arms all fit both, but due to the different position of the diffs, the shafts don't fit.... All though again, I'm not positive

I'm still learning also, I'll be checking back to this thread
