Looking to get a buggy

The Kyosho RTR's are missing all the parts that make the MP9 a winner.
The only RTR nitrobuggy that can walk the walk is the Losi 2.0. And even that buggy will need upgraded servos/engine/pipe after you get some racing under your belt.

But its a good start. When the engine pops you can upgrade to an OS 21XZB, 2090 pipe, Hitec 7955 servos. Don't forget some lipos for the starter box. And remember that 1/8th scale is cheapest when you spend extra to do it right the first time.
Bottom line is I'd recommend building a kit from scratch. The Hotbodies D8 is extremly easy to build and drive. It's one of the cheapest competitive rides as well.

Building these is never an issue. You should see how I customized my savage. Turned it into a competitive Truggy lol. The problem right now is cash flow. Lost
My job so living on unemployment right now. Just got a hyper 7. Guess till I get a little cash for the buggy I want (a kyosho) I will just have to rely on out driving everyone to win.

I remember my first nitro buggy race. I had a s148 standard futaba servo in an inferno dx for steering. I upgraded to bearings, haha, and ran a 100 dollar force 4 port engine. It would only turn when i let off the gas, it was fast though. By the way I won every race.... You may not have the latest and greatest, but your good attitude will get you in the winners circle, good luck...
