Default Fellow Racer has passed too soon

Always had fun racing with "porkchop" over the years at different RC tracks in Ohio. Was shocked when I heard news this morning. Charles will be missed, thoughts and prayers go out to Charles Family.

Wow man , i just got the text about porkchoos early departure , sad indeed guys

I just talked to charles like a couple a days ago , wow

He has been in the hospital for three months , doctors said his body was poisoned by nitro fumes and the toxins stayed in his system

I was fortunate enough to say i called porkchop a friend

You will be missed fellow fatty

Luv ya bro ,
Monty

Good thing I poop out my nitro. Never heard of such a thing as that, maybe the Doctor's just blamed it on the fumes.

But gotta wonder about all those indoor races and the fumes.

Porkchop was a real character. Any thread he was on - and he was on a lot of them - was always more entertaining because he was there. There was always some noob asking "what did he say" and some veteran willing to translate from Porkchop-ese. I was very saddened tonite to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I hope a moment of silence is taken at the Nats this Friday to remember his passing - that would be very appropriate.

This is the first time I've ever head of someone passing because of Nitro fumes from our hobby. He was only 23 ! Nitro fumes was the leading cause? Monty I'd assume you've been around more fumes the most of us including Charles. Did porkchop race Nitro indoors? Is there anything anyone can take away from this? How to be more careful?
