2x14.8's ?? You mean one right? Yes one 4 cell Lipo works great. I use this one- Plenty of juice and super light in the Hudy box-

You use two 4 cells and your box will be dead in about 10 seconds

That's a good question and as a nuclear engineer I should have an answer - but i don't. hahaha.

My initial thought is yes, make it a single connector. Only because they share a common ground and the power wire splits also. But now I'm tempted to try it out.
actually, if you could hook up one of u're 7.2 v's and see if it cranks over, that may give us the answer.

Yes it will wire just like the Ofna box. Clip the wires right before they split and solder on a deans plug. You may need to extend the wires for proper spacing. For best results and a starter box that will last 10 years. Remove all the wires and replace with deans wet noodles. Also solder all the wire connections and eleminate all the plugs except for the 1 deans plug that connects to the Lipo. Hard core guys also will pull the switch out and bypass that completely so that the box only works when the battery is plugged in. The more things you remove that can fail, the more reliable and longer lasting your box will be.
