Default best bang for the bucks truggy combination (nitro)size 1/8.

hi guys,

just wanted to hear your opnion on this matter, just recently bought an sc8 which is my first nitro machine and loving it, as i looked around and fell in love the the truggy design btw my first love is a monster... but I like the shape and design of a truggy..since most of the truggy is expensive and in kits.. i would like to ask your humble opinion on this matter to what is the best combination may it be the kit itself and the engine.. plus you can add the servos and radio of course. so lets get the ball rolling..

appreciate your comments..

I would have to say either a Serpent Cobra S811T or Mugen MBX6T
Werks B5 (stock or Pro version) w/ Werks 2013 pipe
Savox 1267 and 1268 servos
Futaba 2.4GHz( I use the 4PKS)

any of the top truggys(KYOSHO evo, HB D8T, losi eight-t 2.0, AE rc8t, serpent cobra-t etc) all all good truggys, they all have pros and all have cons... take your pick

If you have an SC8 then definitely get the RC8T. The Associated truggy is easily up there with the Mugens and co anyway. But there are quite a few parts shared between the SC8 and RC8T(chassis, center shafts, hubs, diff cases, and a bunch of little stuff...), and it's always good to stay with one brand for when you need a part in a pinch or need to order parts for maybe both cars you can do it from one place...

I would get an RC8T CE with two Savox servos (1258 and 1256) and maybe a Werks or Alpha or Argus or Go or Nova P5 engine...

Over here the Associated truggy isn't the cheapest, but I do think you at least get good tires with it - unlike some of the other brands which don't come with any..
