Default 1/10th stadium truck thread.

Who still races their old stadium truck? We recently decided to get the class going for this season due the simple fun factor.

I bought and built a GT2 thinking that it was going to take off this year but it hasn't so when parts become available I'll convert it to SC10GT.

Even if it doesn't a Nitro SC would be a little more fun to play with than an ST.

They are going to have a class for the 1/10 nitro trucks at the Dirt Nitro Challenge next year.

This Nitro Powered RC auto's Kit version has interesting and amazing features. One of the best things about this model is the wide variety of styles and models That Are available.Nitro RC auto's are really fun to use, but they are also a committed as a serious hobby that some time will have Maintenance, repair and clean a nitro car etc.Read more

HUH?

I love my 10th scale trucks, I have an AD1, and AD2, another AD1 roller, a full factory team GT2, a bullet proof and still dialed FTGT, and just recently finished an SC10GT conversion on a RTRGT2 I picked up for 50 bucks! Even with all the new parts, and a cheapo HobbyKing .18 I'm into it for less then 200 before electronics. I miss the mid 2000's when the RC Pro Series would have 2-5 heats of 1/10th gas truck during the summer series.

I too miss the times when 1/10 nitro was jus as big as 1/8 nitro....I've still got my old OS CVR .12 just sitting in a box waiting for the day that 1/10 makes a come back!! Of course by now I'd have to find bearings, carb seals, rod (for safe measure), and get a light pinch done to get things back to tip top shape, but it would be well worth the effort if the 1/10 surge took off again...

I don't see the appeal of the SC trucks. too bad that's all EVERYONE runs at the tracks here. it's 1/10 buggy or SC. the buggy is too small and the sc is just too sloppy driving for my liking.

I wish more people was racing the 1/10 4 wheel drive buggy or the 1/10 2wd trucks. it seems like there is 0 interest.

it's so bad that the a LHS is trying to sell the RC10T4.1 RTR's for $220. they're just about trying to give em away.

Default 1/10 scale

I have an OFNA pirate 10 that has been collecting dust a while. This thread makes me want to fire it up again. I remember how stupid fast it was for a .12 engine w/shaft driven 4wd.
