Front tire balloning
#4
If the fronts are ballooning, do not go lighter on the center diff.

One front tire balloon? Thicker front diff fluid.
Both front tires? Thicker center.
Sound like your suspension settings are all wrong. Xt8's don't understeer off power. Maybe you're way too soft, low, or not enough droop in the rear. Wrong tires, too much rear toe in, too little front toe out, not enough rear camber, stiffer rear swaybar.
10/10/3?

Start with 10/10/3. That way all you have to change is one diff. And if you need 15 in the center, thats just a 20min change on raceday.
after 10/10/3 I'd look at suspension setup.
Don't fear thick fluid in the front diff. It deosn't usually hurt turn in as much as it helps exit steering.
