Sorry but this is like trying to compare a model t to a 2020 futurer.... Then D8t is a great Truggy but just about at the end of its life, and the A8t is still a work in progress.

End of its life? Doubt it! As far as it looks from what Ive seen the d8t will be around for a bit yet. The cr8 is top of the list yet for hb. Will a new chassis for the d8t fallow, it's not been mentioned. The d8t is still a very capable unit and is tough to beat for its total package vs $.

The agama I'm sure will no doubt be a bad ass unit but time is needed yet for release and tweaking.

Good luck on choice.

I'd say it depends on whether or not your willing to be Agamas guienea pig or go with a proven winner..

Agamas buggy is excellent and hasn't had ton of upgrades like a couple of other buggies that released at nearly the same time. So, the truggy I am sure will be very capable, but theres still always that voice in my head that wonders..

thanks for the info. Hopefully the agama will be at rcx so i could at least see it to see if it would even be worth the wait. and hopefully wont be out my price range. so for now im leaning with the D8T. would love to keep the mbx5t but parts are becomming more difficult to get.
