Default What do you do with old wheels and tires?

At this point I could build a decent sized coffee table and chairs, or maybe a piece of art. I should really stop buying premounts... lol.

I always have a stack of baldies somewhere. I got like 5 sets of worn truggy tires and I haven't owned one of those for like 1.5 years. Lol idk why I dont throw em away.

Once I get a designated RC room I should build a parting wall with em. Lol

If you're trying to save money you can acetone/bake/boil/sauté etc. the tires off the rims. If not, give them to some kids at the track who you know could use them.

Rims I'll give away at the track. I was thinking of taking all the bald tires, half burying them, and lining my rock crawler course with them. What else to do with all these bald tires?

I always chuck 'em in the trash. Never thought anyone might want them after I was done since they werent worthy of hitting the track any longer. I could see saving the inserts if they're in good shape but saving the rims is more work than I'm usually willing to do.

I used them until they cant be used no more. Most of the time, I get at lease 2 uses out of my wheels and foam. Tires I will then cut them off.

I run them on asphalt on parking lots to improve my driving skills and have fun. Even used to drive in skateparks with my previous 808 to learn the jumps.
Anyway I re-use all my foams and wheels until they break/ are worn out. You just need to boil water to remove the tires, acetone isn't necessary. If wheels look scratched etc I use sand paper then dye them. We don't need that much stuff, you can save a lot of money just by recycling things or use them for something else.
