Default aluminum parts upgrade advice?

Hi all new here, been with RC cars for a while mind, but defo a rookie in terms of it!

Either way i've thought about upgrading the lower front and rear arms for aluminum parts but...it would seem that having a bang would ruin them pretty easy, so what are peoples advice, suggestions on this? worth the upgrade or better of sticking with plastics? thanks!

If you like throwing money away i can send you my Pay Pal info and you can just send it to me. But seriously don't do that cause only thing it does is make the car heavier and when you do crash hard you will ruin more than just a $10 plastic arm. I have seen cars with aluminum arms come into the shop and the arm looks like a pretzel the hing pin is snapped into a million pieces and the bulk heads are destroyed. its a waste of money if you actually like driving your car but if its a shelf queen go for it.

As stated above, aluminum arms are not worth the money. Depending on what you have and what you do with your r/c, the plastic arms will be more than suffice. The only parts worth upgrading are mostly hubs and better dog bones...

Again, it depends on what you drive.
