If you do not use the boring side of the bit provided get the results you have explained. You have to use their boring bit which prepares the hole properly for the extracting side to work. In addition, both sides of the bit need to be run in reverse. I noticed the boring bit on some of my other ones needs to be run forward.

Well you must have challenges I've used it many many times it works like a charm wouldn't recommend something that didn't maybe you need a show and tell but you bore in reverse flip and extract in reverse pretty simple maybe not pending on the user
