Hi , is it really necessary to punch holes in your nitro dirt tires. Thanks pete:confused:

Yes its a must! It allows the air to escape, if not your tires will balloon up. :nod:

Some punch holes in the rims, some in the rubber. I prefer the rubber, it also allows any water (from cleaning) or dirt to escape.

You should be able to squeeze your tires and not hear any air noises. If you hear air noises your tires aren't vented correctly. Hearing the air noise means the air is struggling to enter or leave the tire.
