Diff Oil Change Hyper 7 TQ Sport
Hi All,
The only part of the bugger i have never removed would be the front n rear diffs. I have owned my H7 for around a year and have upgraded alot of parts including the motor to a 8 port race motor, which is a weapon of a motor!!
I am interested in learning on how to replace diff oil, the centre diff looks easy enough, but the front and rear look a little more technical.
anyone got a good setup for my buggy? It used mainly to have fun, but i LOVE my speed! and kicking my mates a**..
any suggestions would be taken aboard.. =)

Also man its not very hard to do the front and rear. Just remove the 4 screws from under the front and rear, it will remove the entire shock setup. Once you have one of them off then remove the 2 lock washers from the a arms and the 3 bolts on the bottom of the diff housing and the 2 on the top. the housing will then come apart. The diff is inside the housing. Not too hard shouldnt take but a hour to do the front and rear.

thanks heaps.
I'm just a little confused, last night i took my centre diff apart and opened it up. It was almost like a grease consistancy in there, is it meant to be oil consitancy?
I am assuming its like grease as it hasnt been changed since i bought the buggy.
Soo in saying the below, does that mean i need 3 different bottles of oil? And do i fill it or half fill?
5k front
7k center
3k rear
So many questions as i have never done this before and cant find anything online about it.
thanks in advance =)

yeahh, it had a little big of grease, but i wouldnt say it was enough!
Im going to definately buy diff oils in the next week or so..
Soo for good speed but enough to stop wheel spin you suggest
5k front
7k center
3k rear
?
And i know im gonna sound like a n00b, but when you say 5k, 7k and 3 k you mean 5000 weight? cause some i see are like 40000 weight.. =S a little confusing?
Anyone got a good but reasonably priced brand?
