NEW Mugen Drive Pin Tool

1 Attachment(s)
Many tools on the market today for replacing the pins in your driveshaft. This one looks like it's made right and has a retail price of $64.99
Part #B0541
About time. Kudos to Mugen!

How does this tool work

JoeGuam 12-13-2011 07:48 PM

Once you get it is easy to understand. Its been out in Japan for some time. I am about mugen but the Hudy (expensive) is still better IMO.

:weird: I thought it was C0271 and C0270 JOINT PIN

I need to replace two outdrives before the pins even wear. Is it worth it? would be nice if the pins were made of softer material than the expensive outdrives.

That is unusual, most of the time the pins wear first.

You are correct, and thats what I get for asking my staff instead of looking myself

If you run Mugen then yes. Most cars out there right now have harder pins or cheap outdrives.
New 6R parts and tools are shipping on Friday. Dealers will have them soon.

Hammer + small punch = ;)
Replaced a few and no issues.
The tool is cool though.

Yes sir... I also use a small socket to support the end while pin is forced through.

Real benefit to this tool is it keeps everything nice and straight....no wallowing out the hole and having a pin backout.

If you do not have a pin replacement tool this will be a great addition to any tool box. It works as intended, and anyone buying it will not be disappointed.

Seems you need to put the bottom portion in a vice then your able to turn adding pressure on the shaft IE pin >True?
