Default Proline Buggy Recoils

Just bought a set of Recoils for my 1/8 buggy because they looked interesting. Are many of you using them and what track conditions do they excel in?

I liked the Recoil the best when the track had a lot of traction and ran dry. In M2 compound the tire doesn't have a lot of side bite so you don't traction roll or catch ruts as much. I ran a set of M4 Recoil on a medium traction track and they were okay, but I always liked the Sniper, Blockade, or Tazer better.
