associated sc8 tank issues??
 

Hey guys!!

I heard of the sc8 having crappy tanks, I think I have one. I though it was a line because after I got done running the truck it was wet around the lines.

Well i just started it up and it feels like where the seem is at its busted. I was wondering if anyone have heard if a tank issue on a sc8 and if so what do I need to do?? Thanks all..

Have you tested the tank under water to see if it is leaking? I had one of my SC8 trucks have a tank bad right out of the box, it was leaking from the seam. I called AE and they shipped me out a new one and no problem since, that was 2 years ago.

No I haven't!! Goofy question, to test all I need to do is put in water a blow threw a line correct?? Thanks Doug!!

Plug the fuel feed line and blow into the exhaust pressure line while holding the tank under water. Bubbles will appear at any leaking spots
