are you just not getting strong brakes or what? ... i know with Agama you have to cut a coil or two off the spring between the brake pads. if you dont the springs bottom out and no mater how you set EPA, brakes wont work well. i cut about 1.5 coils off mine.

hope this helps.

Yer the problem is Im not getting strong brakes and Im having to set my EPA on the transmitter far higher than I think is acceptable, worried about blowing a servo. Cutting the coils is a great idea. The simplest solutions an all that, just makes you wonder why Agama sell springs that are to long for the job.

removing the springs completely wont hurt anything either. Also the fuel tubing supplied in the kit for the brake linkage is too soft. Find a stiffer tubing. You should be fine after that.

the springs aren't too long, just need to screw the screws in more...making the gap between the plates smaller

they are to long, well to many coils... even Gene Hickerson said that, he posted to cut 1-2 coils off.....

the team manager for Agama, and ours did too, but if the brake pads wear any, brakes fade... and once we cut coils off, it would stop on a dime
