Questions?? Need some advice

Hey guys!

I am a beginner and right now I own a Kyosho DBX 2.0 and the only upgrades I have right now is I put in Savox SC1258TG servos. I am looking to make some upgrades on my car (ex engine, converting it to a bump start, etc). Should I forget all the upgrades and invest my money into another car? I do not use my car for bashing and it only runs on the track. Once I get better I would like to race. I am willing to invest my money into making my car better but if it is not worth it then I willl get another car.

Thanks!!!

Depends, to you have the money to blow on a race roller and new engine ect? If not run the snot out of it, gain experience, fix what breaks, and wait until your skills are good enough to race. At the same time tuck away some money when you can so when you are ready to race you can buy yourself something nice. We all have to start somewhere......

Just realized that thing was 1/10 scale,o yeah run it, when you get ready to race get yourself an 1/8 scale buggy.

Cool Thank you

Thank you!!! That is what I was thinking about doing. It is a good car and I beat the thing up at the track because I am still new to this. I dont have the cash to get a race roller just another ready to run car. So I figured I would just save up the money to get a race roller etc... I was looking at either Losi 8ight 2.0 or The Car.

Well I am running a 8ight, not a bad ride. But look into something competitive, and preferable that your local track stocks parts for. When you are ready to spend check the for sale forum here, plenty of great deals to be had!
