Xchange 10-20-2011 02:25 AM

Well if you have an EU, you already have the parts but agree with you.

morgoth 10-20-2011 03:44 AM

My EU is 4 races old, so I'll just get the new radiotray. I'm looking forward to test with it.

merdith6 10-20-2011 03:54 AM

well

I do like the hard coated spur gear, the regular one rusts easy...

but I would have liked to see an extra radio box for just the reciever included so if you choose to use the battery forward you won't have a big ol battery box....

and the clutch bells are a little soft. Hardned steel would be nice...

What about the rear turnbuckles, why no hex adjustment there...

Besides, The buggy really only needed the long chassis...so I can't complain...

But still, after such a long time with this design I would have thought it would have been refined a bit more....

You don't fix something that isn't broken. Mugen made changes that were obviously pertinent to improving it's handling and including most upgrade goodies in the process. When you speak of hex adjustments you're getting into apples and oranges. Its obvious what Mugen decided on, and on purpose.

C,mon guys... you cant improve perfection:D:lol::tire:

I do agree though why change the front toe link but not the rear camber link:weird:, I never found the holes in the links to be a problem anyway'

Dave

The spur isn't new. The kit comes with a 44t because that's what Battle drove at the European championship, that's all. Same material.
If you clean and maintain you're car well, then your stuff doesn't rust ;-)

.... to clear things a little:

battle won but the european champs because of his 9 min fuel strategy BUT the euros were absolutely dominated by guske & reckward with the eu kit & standard battery mount !! they were clearly the fastest guys there & they used standard eu kits !

So? Dont buy the r, some dont like the +5 chassis but im still buying the r... The tray helps a ton and that cant be argued. Since ive had the battery forward car has increased in handling and steering by at least 50%... From its great handling and steering stock. Just because a pro runs somthing doesnt mean all do or u have to. Alot of cars on the track by pros have alot more secrets then you think... The r is worth it!
