SC8 remote / reciever - To DX3S

So im in the process of buying a SC8 Nitro. And i have the DX3S.

Wondering how many channels a SC8 has and if i need a SR300 or 3000 or 3000T reciever to work with number of SC8 channels

You only need 2 channels ( throttle/brake and steering )..unless you plan on adding accessories.
