I guess the keep dirt away longer for air filters. And airflow is supposedy good.

I used that one on my odonnell filter, it worked pretty good, but I got tired of trying to get it on without messing up the outer filter..

It does work though. Dirt still gets through, but I could run the same filter twice as long....

If you want a outer filter use Vet wrap. It works 10 times better then the outwears filter. A roll costs like $3. Just make a 1layer pass around the filter, and over lap a touch to seal it together.

Got these on both my serpents using the losi filter system abd the losi motor saver cover and saves time during a race day, just clean the outer cover each heat instead of changing filters over as it leaves next to not dust and dirt in, I was a 5 - 6 filter person per race day and now its 2 maybe three if its a big event....great product
