Anybody have experience or opinions on Thunder Tiger trucks?
My younger brother is looking to get his first RC car. he has been looking at a redcat shockwave, he has a limited budget of about 150 dollars. he wants to get a RTR truck. I see these Thunder Tiger trucks on RCplanet.com . For 160 he could get an RTR Thunder tiger phoenix st2 truck. looks like a decent truck. any ideas? is it any better than a redcat shockwave perhaps? he wont ever race it or get too involved, just wants a truck to run while i run mine around.
i cant post a url of it becuase i havent made a certain number of posts yet. rcplanet.com/Thunder_Tiger_Phoenix_p/ttr6539-f07.htm

re thunder tiger
i raced a thunder tiger st1 pro truggy for 2 seasons and i can honestly say it was one tough durable truggy . i ended up with a big box full of spare parts because it just wouldnt break .
im not sure how parts availability is for you in the usa but here in canada its difficult to find a hobby store that stocks thunder tiger parts

I have read a bit more about these thunder tiger trucks now, people are saying the parts are interchangeable between a thunder tiger Phoenix ST2 and a RC10 GT. by people i am just referring to other posts i have read by googling this. Does anyone know if this is true?

Thunder tiger Phoenix ST2
Is the ST2 any good as a basher? Is the XT better? The ST is 119 at Tower and the xt is 180 at wholesale hobbies (don't know if they will ship to Canada). Otherwise the xt is 219 at tower hobbies.
