Hey guys,
Just wanted to post about my debut with the buggy this past weekend, dispite I only had a week to prepare for this race and get buggy built. I had a one night test which trying get use to how fast this buggy accelerates and corner which nice to have it so responsive.

I ended up heading down to Harlingen for the RC Pro Series Nationals Round 16 that morning of the race to get some morning practice and get idea what track the valley guys built, first thing you notice was the yellow piping which enchanced the lanes alot more, which also what guys were saying the average lap times were 40s to 46 sec.

I was charged and ready get a few warm up laps and can really tell how much speed this buggy had once you open up on the few straights the track had, plus how much little effort it took for buggy to launch from the 2 triples they had in center of track now this was with moist track conditions, I knew once the heat began to set the dirt would end up getting loose and by end of day the track would be getting rutted and blown out in certain areas as the weekend continued. so it was all about finding a new line thru out the track.

In Open Buggy class which only had 10 drivers so my 3 out of 4 qualifiers ended up with a flame out of one of my old engines I had thinking they would do me some good which effected one less lap from the others so pretty much ended up setting 6th in the Main.

I changed engines for the Main in hopes no issues would arise yet only find out I was same boat as the qualifiers. flaming out on a long sec lap effects ur results which my outcome was not good.

This buggy over all is great rig and held up all weekends with no issues buggy wise and with few more runs I hope get this dialed and ready for the Finals in Alvin.
Over all I am very pleased with this buggy it is durable and light which I am getting use to.

Im hoping the get with you guys in a few weeks to see how your set-up do with same track and different driving styles.

see you guys in a few weeks, Roy

During the main the track really dried out but never grooved up so the tieres didnt allow enough side bite so Denver and Hunter battled it out for 45 minutes and Denver took the win.
It was fun !!
I was enjoying watching those two go at it. I think they were too. Both those boys are definitely talented.
