Would like to thanks all the congrates on this weekends race!
He qualifed 8th.
On the main got a good start 2nd onlap 1 behind Ryan, but the shock oils where a little on the light side and diff oils little high.
We wish they would of had a A main practice, but that racing

The track took its toil, but the Evo held up well and Hunter finished 5Th

The set up sheet and full race details will be on the website

I have been using my 5mm longer chassis at the last couple of meetings and can say what a difference it makes.

So much better turn it and smoother landings.

Im currently making a new radio tray to re-arrange the weight and also for the wing im running hotbodies end plates for more tuneability

Can you elaborate on the HB end plates? Maybe a picture??? Id also like to see the radio tray when you get it done...

Right for those who have been interested on what i have done with the wing plates i basically cut out the holes on the wing to suit the hotbodies end plates and with these it gives more adjustment up - down and front to back.

Went to the moto dome race in northern Minnesota over the weekend, and while my luck lately has not been what it could be( plug unplugged in first round on an easy a-main run) the car has been exellent. Very responsive to tuning(does what you would expect),non of this making changes to the car only to not tell if anything was changed. Seems to be a very well balanced car that allows simple rear toe changes to keep up with track changes,(more blue groove, pull out a 1/4 degree of toe every two rounds of so), very nice.
up right shocks
3,5,2
about 2.5 to 3.0 on toe
long wheel base
more caster seems better so far
not sure yet on anti-squat.25 down did not seem like enough
i also have the battery next to the throttle servo (1600 5 cell)
2.0 front and 2.6 rear anti-roll bars (tune to your track, light for greasy tracks)
and drive it more "on road like", you can muscle it through the corners and slide it off them but it seems to be much faster just driving it easy( it has tremedous corner speeds, a very good thing).
so far in the 2 gallons, there has been no real loosing of the car, no real wear at all(well except on the chassis from the 000 sand paper track,) one guy looked at his chassis on his 3 month old serpent only to find his droop screws sticking threw, real abrasive track.
so far love this car, the graceful handling and responsive set-up have brought back the thrill of racing 1/8 scale again. thanks, tim.
