Default Cleaning products

This weekend I am going to tear apart my diffs and rebuild them. Wondering what everyone uses to clean out old grease and diff fluid? Would simple green work, do I need something stronger?

So I did what I should have done in the first place and did a search. Looks like Naptha is the way to go. Do I need to rinse off the excess before rebuilding the diff, or just let it air dry?
