Default Expo settings for 1/8 buggy

hi guys,
looked around but couldnt find a definitive answer

what Expo settings do most of you run on your buggies? mine has always been set to 0 but i think my steering hand is abit to over eager...especially down the straights i tend to over correct to much..I have a Ace 1015 on steering if that helps.
i thought i might try some expo this coming weekend to smooth things out...question is how much i dont want it set to much and then get into some bad habbits and actually go slower
Dont know why it never occured to me either lol, its something you play around with alot when learning to fly collective pitch helicopters for the first time too

thanks!

I run 10% just to take the edge off. I tried 20% but found it too sluggish.

When expo was the only setting I had to slow the steering servo down a little bit I ran +10 to 15. 20 was to much for me but start at 20 and see what it does and work your way from there. Make a big change so you can feel it.

if you can tell a difference with just 10% try the extremes and see what feels better then narrow it down from there. do 75% expo, if it feels good, go to 25%, if thats not enough go to 50% and so on. kinda like feeling out your shock positions. i run 50% steering, 60% brake, 20% throttle. expo only has an effect on the neutral zone, not servo speed (unless its super slow). if you want precission steering during high speeds more expo helps. if you are an on off switch driver, full left then full right then full gas then full brake, expo is hard to detect. its a digital proportional system for a reason.
