Default RC8 "worlds" set up

I have installed the new towers for the RC8b and have modified the A-arms. The rear suspension seems too low. Are there different shock shaft ends that I should be using if I am running the Worlds set up?

Yes, you need longer shaft ends. The worlds kit comes with them but you have to make them shorter by a few mm. To do the same, buy part #89078 (servo link rod ends) and trim 1.5 mm off. I've heard that using the shock ends from a D8 works even better.

So what if I get the towers only, do I need longer shafts? Or is this necessary only when used with the updated arms?

Default Question

I think that's the issue. If you purchase the new towers you have to modify the arms or the distance from the tower to the ARM is off.

So is anyone selling the new arms?

Associated is supposed to be coming out with all the new 8.2 parts at the end of this month. Otherwise you can modify your existing arms by removing the material in the A-arms under the shock mount stand off. You simply hollow it out with a dremmel tool or drill and put a screw directly through the A-arm.
