i'm not sure about tomorrow yet.. this damn hot weather is getting to me!

if they made the battery box a touch bigger and moulded a one piece lid they could call it whatever they like, those are the only things i would like changed any time soon

All joking aside the Mugen is by far the least durable truggy we have seen to date...Losi, Hotbodies, Serpent, Ae are not having any issues at all...the Mugens are blowing apart like crazy doing the same track, same crashes, same jumps...Mugen is the most popular machine at our track and the issues are happening with every single one of them....I had no idea how bad the issue was till we started running this new track.....
I can say this, if you hit any car into a object hard enough it will break. No crashing= no breaking...

Maximo if i correct you post the clockwork vids on that narly track with the tripple in the back. lol thats where i bet the breaks occur. To much motor maybe lol but i do see one little mess up and most cars will break there. Its hard to hit that big of a jump on the opposite side of the track perfect every time. But i wouldnt exspect anything to roll away from a wreck there either eveytime lol.

Every kit has issue nothing is perfect but Ive seen the front arm snap on the mugen many times some kits have there strengths like the serpent its build very solid takes a huge beating and keeps on rolling.

Didn't mean to open a can of worms

Doesn't sound like a 7 is coming anytime soon.

To answer the original question, ETA will be sometime between late 2013 and early 2015. If you would have studied Mugen and as far as development and release of an model, they run on around a 4 to 5 year life out of a design with a few updates before redesigning it into the next generation model. So, don't hold your breathe on a "MBX-7" coming out anytime soon.

Not trying to get into brand bashing. I have ran my Serpent all season on the new track and have not broken a single arm.. The mugen is a nice truck though, handles very nice however I do prefer the Serpent.

Ya I agree, the arms do seem to break quite frequently at our track, but they do seem to handle great.
