Default OFNA Truggy Starter Starter Box

Is anyone using lipo with this box? Which one? How long does the lipo last before it needs charging?

I am putting this one in my buggy. They are a great size and the voltage output can be adjusted by using their Castle Link.

I will be waiting to hear your thoughts on it. Have fun at the Futaba Race.

Later,

P.S. remind Chad to get me some of those gears.

Thanks,

I run 1/10th electric TC using Orion 4800 Platinums. When my gel cell gives out on my 10244 box, I use two 4800 in series as a back up. I run 3-4days out of the week and after 2 weeks, I haven't charged my 4800's yet. This is on the extreme side and wouldn't recommend it if you have a race to attend. I am doing so to see how long they would hold. Stick with a gel cell and charge it when you get home from running all day. Bring 2 6cell NiMh packs with you just in case. There is no need to spend anymore money on LiPo packs strictly to use in your Starter Box unless you already use them else where.

Tons of people run that box. I run a 4s Venom 3200 LiPo. Got plenty of punch for breaking in those new engines.

Don't have to recharge for quiet some time, though it's good to put your LiPo's in storage mode if you won't be using them for sometime (although some people won't agree on that).

I suppose I could go an easy two weekends of racing on one charge.
