Everyone here is going to recommend the car theyre running, so a question like this is fairly pointless.
All brands have their ups and downs, you need to be more specific in what youre looking for exactly.

Well XRAY definately has the best buildquality on the market, and it has tons of upgrades.

Question is if youre driving on a track or just bashing. And if price is a factor, cause XRAY isnt the cheapest brand.

The standard answer for this question is:
Get the one that has the best parts support in your region. If you need a part and it's not available locally you could meet considerable expense and delay getting them imported. Those are all good choices from a quality standpoint.

If I wanted to bash Id probably get a truggy instead as they have higher groundclearance and doesnt flip as easy.
Maybe an XRAY XT8?

if price is not a factor go xray.
But what is the point?
If you are only going to be bashing any thing will do get
THE CAR and put all purple parts on it

The dnx 408 is a good racer but would not make a good basher

go losi, xray,HB and yes a truggy would be more fun than a buggy
as a basher

Honestly, if you just want to bash, have fun, and money is not an issue as you stated then I wouldn't even bother with 1/8th scale. Go 1/5th and stick a nice 30cc fuellie engine in it. You will have the best fun on RC 4 wheels.

There are engines up to 62cc, but require some work to fit. Honestly I've seen these things with a modified fuellie and they are nuts. Very expensive though but ultimate for bashing just due to their sheer size, run time which can be anything from 20 minutes to 45 minutes on one tank. Engines last much longer than a pesky .21, require lest time consuming tunning, and best of all you use pump fuel with some 2 stroke oil. Just like your garden variety whipper snipper

Again I'd go for this option only if money was not an issue and you just wanted to bash. Saying that though you can race 1/5th as well.
