Team C's Truggy 'T8T'
#16
well after the dust settled in the Toys for Tots at the world famous
Revelation Raceway and with a few Team C guys there
It was a good showing for the Cars !!!! and making the "A-Mains"
with the likes of Adam Drake and Cody King as well as others was nice to see
the Team C line Holding it's own....!!!
in the Intermediate Classes Al M. and Chad C. were tearing it up and looked
GREAT for the respected Wins !! but Chad had a Carb Linkage Failure
that cost him the win with a 22 second Lead.......
My self, i had a Great Run in the Expert classes
but as "Luck" would have it, with a Receiver Battery Failure
kept me at the last 4 Minutes out of the Hunt...(it happenes)
but with the year of racing wraping up, hopefully we'll see some of the
Southern California Team C Guys at "Fear Farm" for the Nitro-Challenge......
with that, like to also say Merry X-Mas everyone !!!
and Happy New Year just in case i forget....LOL

Ran mine for the 1st time this past Saturday at The Grove in Rock Hill. I've gotta say coming from a Losi T2.0 I've ran for the last several seasons....I LIKE IT!
The track was a relatively tight, dry and very slick with big air jumps but lowering the truck slightly below level front and rear and moving the rear hubs forward to put more weight over the rear wheels I was dialed with mega traction and steering with no other change to stock set-up. One thing I noticed when building the kit was that the servo saver spring with the kit is way too soft and will tighten all the way down and still not be strong enough to hold the front wheels locked so the fix is a stock LOSI servo saver spring. Exactly the same size but will give you twice the adjustability for tension. Other than that minor glitch the truck went together very nicely and organized and I am rewarded with what I think will be an extremely FUN to drive truck for this season!

If by droop you mean the amount of downward travel of the arms, the T8T truck has tons of it available if the droop screws are backed out some, and if the shocks are mounted in the inner hole on the arms. The shocks are actually longer than most others. However, I know that some folks refer to ride-height as "droop". The T8 series has a natural low front ride-height, below level. That could give you the impression of a low "droop".
As for rough track handling. I watched Ken Rand run down a high level local Losi driver with his T8T just last Saturday on a large supercross style track, which had many bumps, jumps, rollers, and ruts. Ken hovered his way over the rough to an eye-opening win. His T8T was by far the best performing truggy on the track, which had a full field of AE, Mugen, and Losi trucks.
Please help your mate get his droop adjusted. There is much more than enough there for the roughest tracks.

In the process of building up 2 of these, fit and finish is good.
I have had a couple of small issues, nothing major.
The truck that moonie posted about is performing very well down here, certainly holding it`s own against all the Mugen,Losi,Serpent`s and Xray`s.
I`m coming from a XT8 09,looking forward to comparing the 2.
