Also I went out on a limb and tried something myself that worked. .I used associated 50 (650) shock oil...perfect! With stock springs. ..Also it's true about the servo saver spring. .too weak...I got an associated 1 and opened the hole up a little so the nut fit in it ...it's longer so when I cranked it down it really tightened the servo saver up.

I have had the front body post get loose on my t8e so I went with a longer screw but other than that my other vehicles are fine

The radio tray part i have found that if you over tighten them and with the chassis flex.......they will work the holes out. Make sure you use the screw that holds the servo tray to the diff housing. I have found that will stop screws from backing out as well

Hi Guys,
Been driving this truck for a couple of months now and I'm loving it.
Easy to setup, easy to drive and really responsive to my input.

I'm a bit confused about the triangle ackermann though.
Can somebody explain the effect off changing ackermann on this truck?

Anyone have an answer for this? I too am wondering the difference between the 3 holes??? I am thinking it would be along the lines of the TLR short and long ackerman arms, but instead of using different arm lengths they have different holes?

I have also noticed that different holes in the ackerman are used for the T8e than the T8Te...

Any explanation woudl be very helpful...Thanks!

if I am thinking right it will change the steering from mild to wild(speed).

The rear hole of the Ackerman plate is for a more direct steering response, typically best for smaller models like the buggy and for tight track layouts with multiple 180deg turns.

The front hole is for a smoother, more forgiving steering response, typically best for larger tracks with long sweeping corners, and for larger models like truggy. If you are racing a truggy on a smaller track that is shared with 1/10th scale racing, then moving the Ackerman backwards to the middle hole will help quicken the steering response.
